Celebrate Make A Difference Day With A Water Dispenser

This past Saturday, organizations, individuals, and businesses from all over the nation celebrated Make a Difference Day by serving others in creative ways. Make a Difference Day Observed By Schools and Businesses Alike
In 2022, seven North Florida schools partnered with companies to create and give out reusable water bottles as an act of service to the Jacksonville community, starting with student-athletes, who would otherwise use 156 plastic bottles, on average. Participating students, teachers, and administrators understood the beneficial impact on the health of the students, as well as the environment, in reducing landfill waste as well as the potential health risks associated with plastic water bottle reliance.
Also in Florida is FIU or Florida International University, which has created an excellent digital platform to help others learn about and get involved. Their website highlights their many service achievements over the years, including their GivePulse community service hours tracking tool, as well as their Alternative Breaks program, Relay for Life celebration, and Roarthon dance marathon, which has now raised $1.7 million. East Coast Success Stories: Businesses Are Supplying Water Using A Water Dispenser in 2023
Several businesses on the East Coast have gotten on board with a workplace water dispenser already, but this is just the beginning. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, companies including but not limited to Camping World, On Ideas, and Edgewell Personal Care have invested in making a positively sustainable switch to their hydration practices.
